The Crossroads of Tradition and Technology.

The renovation of this 1914 Arts & Crafts style home in the Farlow Hill Historic District of Newton began with the goals of preserving the wonderful architectural character of the house, completing the renovations in a sustainable manner, and ensuring that any modifications would support the home well into the next 100 years.

Our most recent project, Highland Street, was a total reimagination of a classic late 19th century Victorian farmhouse. Retaining the well-proportioned and attractive main 1897 house, we removed a 1960s-era wing and replaced it with larger and more appropriate living spaces in the New England farmhouse vernacular.
