Exterior work continues

Finally we’ve had a decent stretch of weather for exterior work!  Over the last two weeks our landscaper has been able to complete the final grading and hydroseed the lawn.  We’re using a special, locally-grown hybrid grass called Pearl’s Premium, which will reduce the amount of water, fertilizer, and maintenance relative to a normal turf lawn.

Also, we hit the window to get the driveway topcoat down, and it looks great.  As soon as it has completely cured and we have another stretch of good weather, our top coat of chipseal will finish it off.

And our garage flooring subcontractor, Garage Floor Coating of Boston, came in over a period of several days to grind down, prep, and install a coat of epoxy finish over the garage floor.  It’s durable, slip-resistant, easy to clean, and very attractive.
